I cannot describe how happy I am. I had been after a memory blanket for absolutely ages - around 12 years to be precise (my eldest is now almost 14) and I never found anyone that I wanted to give my precious items to.

Then my youngest came along and I had even more precious items that I knew I wanted to be made into a keepsake… and then time ran away with me as it often does when you’re a busy Mum.

I finally found this lovely lady only a couple of months ago and just felt comfortable speaking with her and asked lots of questions which she didn’t mind at all and I paid the deposit for my single quilt.

The best part was that she’s fairly local and it saved me a great deal of expense on postage too so I dropped the clothes off to her last month and today I picked up my BEAUTIFUL handcrafted quilt. Honestly, it’s gorgeous. It’s so thick and amazing.

I am totally in love with it and I am taking a trip down memory lane tonight when I snuggle up with it. Thank you so much Collette. I would recommend you to anyone and everyone. I’ll be back for more in the new year with the left overs.

I was in two minds whether I could part with my baby’s first clothes. I stumbled across Collette’s page and her keepsakes looked beautiful. I took the plunge and after a month on the waiting list, my bear was made. I included so many notes with my items, but Collette pieced the clothes together better than I ever could have imagined. I’ve received it today and it’s beautifully made. My clothes have been returned as well and they have been cut so neatly I can reuse for a blanket for the future. Absolutely amazing craftsmanship and I now have a bear I can keep forever. Thank you so much.

I asked Collette to make 4 bears, 1 each for my mum, sister, niece and me. My Dad passed away earlier in the year and we wanted something special to keep his memory alive. Collette made the bears from Dads shirts. We are all over the moon with them. I will certainly treasure mine forever. Have you ever been so in love with something, you just can’t take your eyes off of it? Well that’s how I feel about these gorgeous keepsake animals, my wonderful and talented friend Collette, with Bella & Bear created for me. 

Every piece of fabric on the bear has such special memories of our sweet Anders as a new born. Just to name a few, the cactus was the first outfit I bought after I found out he was a boy, the white and blue bear was his coming home outfit, the little brother was his first little brother outfit I purchased, and one of favourites the ‘mitty’ on his left hand was the pair of mittens Anders would wear all the time bc he refused to sleep without them. 

The giraffe, is Aiden's special animal. It has his hospital hat, hospital blanket, coming home jacket, his outfit he wore to his first visit to Texas, one of my favourites is the outfit I bough him after he survived a very tough few weeks in the hospital (Built Tough), and I last minute asked Collette to add a puzzle piece patch on the giraffe and the puzzle piece is perfectly placed and adds the perfect touch, and it is made out of his coming home outfit.

These lovies will forever be cherished and hold a very very special place in my heart. I am beyond thankful for Collette's wonderful talent.
